All Patrol Cars are now equipped with the latest mobile communication technology with Tiburon Cad Software.  These laptop computers allow officers to have instant access to Bureau of Motor Vehicle records, Dangerous and Wanted Criminal Files and the Porter County Records System. The most important benefit of this system is increased officer safety. Department productivity has been dramatically improved with field reporting tools that result in more time on patrol and less administrative work at the station.

All Patrol Cars are also equipped with Eagle eye Video Cameras which feature 1/3 CCD Color High Resolution Camera 5.4mm-64.8mm Auto Focus Electric Zoom Lens Auto Iris, Auto Focus Selection Built-In Operations Indicator Light Overhead Control Panel With LCD Monitor Illuminated Function Buttons Radar Interface-Signal Cable Connection and On Screen Display-Locked Target-Patrol Speed.
