3rd Annual Battle of the Badges Dodgeball Tournament set for September 19

VALPARAISO | Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Unit is hosting the 3rd Annual “Battle of the Badges” Dodgeball tournament on Thursday, September 19, 2013. The community is invited to cheer on and support their favorite teams from local fire and police departments, who support us every day, as they compete for the coveted “Battle of the Badges” Dodgeball Championship. The tournament begins at 5:30 PM and will be held at the South Haven Unit, located at 723 Long Run Road in Valparaiso.

The tournament is “double elimination” format. Admission is only $3.00 per person. All proceeds from “Battle of the Badges” Dodgeball Tournament will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Unit.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Unit is open every day after school and provides high quality youth development programs, free tutoring and homework assistance, fitness and recreation activities and much more for children in grades K-12. Annual memberships are just $35.00. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
