Flex Team Recovers Stolen Property and Leads to
Arrest
Porter
County Sheriff Police arrest Valparaiso man for
Felony Theft
On
September 8th 2010 officers responded
to 211 E Morthland DR, Rainsoft Business, for a
report of stolen property.
Initial
investigation found that between September 7th
and September 8th the following
property was stolen, a 2002 Chevy pick up, 2007
Interstate trailer and a Gehl Skidster ( BOBCAT
TYPE MACHINE ). The total estimated value of the
articles is $ 50.000.00.
Officers
of the Porter County Sheriffs Department Flex
Team developed information of a possible
suspect, officers were directed to a property in
the 1200 South area of rural Porter County.
Officers located and recovered the reported
stolen property.
The Flex
Team continued to investigate the case and
developed Probable cause to obtain an arrest
warrant for the suspect, identified as Jason R
Craig, 33 years old of Nickel Plate AVE,
Valparaiso.
On
September 9th, Craig was located by
the Flex Team at 305 Union ST in Valparaiso.
Craig was arrested and charged with Theft
D-Felony, Craig is also being held on a Hold for
Indiana State Parole.
