As the Susan G. Komen Chicago 3-Day walk approaches, our team is
busy training and fundraising. You all have been so incredible with
your support and generosity; we couldn’t have come this far without
you. We are excited to announce that we are working in conjunction
with the Northwest Indiana Law Enforcement Community to bring
awareness for finding a cure for breast cancer. Portage Police
Department has really gone above and beyond the call with creating
and distributing pink “Fight like a Girl” magnets to show support to
Officer #139 Flora Ryan.
On Friday June 18th, we are hosting a “Bowl for a Cure”
at Westchester Lanes in Chesterton. We are offering two times to
come and bowl. Come out for the 6 pm to 9 pm bowl and bring your
family! Or come out for the 9 pm to Midnight bowl and have a great
time with your family and friends!
A ticket includes 3 hours of bowling, bowling ball, shoe rental, a
slice of pizza and a soda. Tickets are $12.50 and proceeds go to
the Susan G. Komen 3 Day for a Cure. We are fundraising to achieve
our $12,000 goal!
To purchase tickets, see Tristan, Tanya, Lori, Sherry or Karen! Or
