Gang Awareness Presentation
Please join us for a very important
community awareness meeting where Sheriff David Lain,
along with Officers Jeremy Chavez and
Mark Harris of the Porter County Gang Task Force
will be discussing the very real problem
of gang activity in our area.
While gangs were once considered only an
inner-city problem, that is no longer the case.
The officers will be sharing information
about what types of activity they are seeing locally,
and what can be done to prevent the
spread of gangs in our community.
Our children are vulnerable to gang
involvement for a variety of reasons,
which is why it is so important for
families and community members to be well informed.
When: Thursday, May 27th at
6:00 p.m.
Where: Paul Saylor Gymnasium (enter
through gym doors)

** Each student who attends with a parent
will receive a free homework pass.
**The class with the most parents
attending will be treated to an extra recess and dodge
ball with Officer Chavez!
