Washington Township High School Government teacher Greg Simms wanted his classes to interact with police officers

in a positive and educational setting, so Officer Paul Arnold, Corporal Jeremy Chavez and Sheriff David Lain obliged.

 On May 28^th the officers set up mock traffic stops in the parking lot of the high school.

     The students learned “dos and don’ts” if they are ever pulled over or if they are a passenger in a pulled over

 vehicle. While informative the program was designed to make the students more comfortable with law enforcement.
