What's Happening at The Porter County Sheriff's
Department

at the Memorial Day Parade |

The Sheriff’s Department participated in the
Portage Memorial Day parade on May 25th.
Along with crowd control provided by our two
motorcycles, we had a marked police cruiser,
the Mounted Posse and the 1967 anti
substance abuse Impala SS as parade units.

The first three anti-drug essay contest
winners were able to ride in the Chevy and
help us pass out candy.
They
are pictured with the Sheriff and Chief Doug
Snider.
Ethan Warner attends Portage Central
Elementary while Mason Addis and
Austin Abbett are Morgan Township students.
