The Porter County Sheriff’s Department donated a
“Dillinger cartridge” to C.A.M.P. (Caring about Military
Personnel) for their fundraiser in December.
The winning bidder, Mike Blink bought it for his dad, a
history buff, and came to the Sheriff’s Department so
his father could have his picture taken with the gun.
Mike also had the winning bid on the digital camera with
which he took these photos.
He is going to send the camera to a soldier serving
overseas.
For more information about CAMP visit their website at
www.caringaboutmilitarypersonnel.com
The machine
gun was thoroughly checked for safety by all parties
before handling.
