On behalf of the entire Porter County
Sheriff’s Department, I want to say THANK
YOU for all of the generous support from our

for the 2007 Awards Banquet held on December
15th. The evening was a chance
for the men and women who have done
exemplary work throughout the year to be
officially recognized. Chief Doug Snider and
I handed out nearly two dozen awards,
including three LIFE SAVING awards. Adding
to the evening’s significance was the
presence of an honored guest, U.S.
Representative Pete Visclosky who handed
each award recipient a personal
congratulatory letter.
The evening would not have been possible
without the contributions made by our

donated
at least $250 to the event,
our TAN
SPONSORS contributed $100 or
more, and the
BROWN
