Historical Society

On December 3^rd, the Historical Society of Porter County held their meeting at the Sheriff’s Department. They were hosted by Chief David Lain who spoke on the history of the Department’s Thompson submachine gun, and then took the members on a tour of the jail. Several of the society’s members posed with the “Tommy gun” after the meeting.
