Law Enforcement Academy Honors Volunteers |
|

Sergeants John Kuehl, Michael
Krawczyk and Chief David Lain were recently honored by the Northwest
Indiana Law Enforcement Academy for volunteering 24 hours or more of
instruction for the academy.
Sgt. Kuehl instructs emergency
vehicle operation, Sgt. Krawczyk was a Drill Instructor for the
current class of recruits, and Chief Lain instructs the ethics
class.
The officers were awarded with
travel bags embroidered with the Academy's seal at the annual NILEA
banquet at the Radisson in Merrillville on May 6th.
Personnel from numerous other
agencies were likewise honored. The Academy relies almost entirely
on volunteers to train local law enforcement recruits. |
