Sheriff's Department Raises Money 
For American Heart Association

On October 10, 1999, over 25 members of the various 
divisions of the Sheriff's Department gathered to walk
in the fifth annual Porter County Heart Walk, 
to raise funds for the American Heart Association. 

The 4 mile walk was held at Aberdeen, located just
south of Valparaiso on State Highway 2. 

 The participants raised over $1500 through
pledges from local businesses and individual sponsors.
